Did you know that the school canteen is operated by the P&C and that all profits from the canteen go back into funding improvements for the school?
We have a manager and two assistants as salaried staff and they are ably assisted by a few volunteers.
Following a recent Food Inspection from the council, we were awarded the maximum 5-star rating for our food, service and facilities. This amazing outcome is just reward for the efforts of the our equally amazing canteen staff.
From our canteen, we serve the students healthy meals every day as well as run a small catering section. We cater for teas, lunches, breakfasts, swimming or athletic events. If you need catering for an event or occasion, we encourage you to give the canteen a call, you will be pleasantly surprised. Our aim is to always have a healthy menu available; we serve wraps, sushi, fruit, salads, water, milk etc.
We would also like to bring to your attention that we are part of the FlexiSchools system which is an online ordering system. If you are new to the system, you can register at the FlexiSchools website. If you were using the system last year at a primary school, simply contact FlexiSchools and change the school name in your account, you can then continue using FlexiSchools with the Cromer Campus canteen. The advantage to using the FlexiSchools system is that it ensures your child receives the food they want, without the need to carry cash and you can keep an eye on what your child is eating. We encourage the use of the FlexiSchools system. If you require more information on this, please contact either the canteen or P&C President Jackie Reavie.
For those who do not use the FlexiSchools system, the canteen also accepts cash, EFTPOS or the easy to use Student Card.
